The Medical Council of Thailand has approved a 3 year postgraduate program in Travel Health. Courses are due to start June 2014, Hospital for Tropical Diseases, Mahidol University


1st Travel Health Workshop, 26 January 2013, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India  

With the concept of travel Medicine just emerging in India this workshop was held to give doctors an overview of the major issues. It was organised by the Department of Medicine Unit I and Infectious Diseases and the International Short Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine. Topics covered the history of travel medicine, traveler’s diarrhea, pre travel assessment and vaccinations, post travel screening and various travel case scenarios.
